Southern Rubber Tire

Really stinks It is very unfortunate after having serviced three different vehicles, over a 7 year period, with good results that today was terrible. I came in for a nail in my tire and was told it can not be repaired and replacement was the only option. I had added air a week ago and noticed the nail, pressure held for a long time so a small leak at best. A large gash was in the side of the tire. There is no way I would have been able to drive the 10-15 mins to the shop from my home. I was told maybe it was not visible until the tire was taken off the rim. It would be impossible to miss this especially since on the outside of the tire. Disappointment was on my face and the service tech knew it and quickly offered " to run the cameras back " to show they did not puncture the tire. I did not raise my voice or throw a tantrum but had to agree to let them order a new tire and mount. Hate it when a business has great results for a long time and then suspect actions take place. I have no proof of malicious actions but find this too coincidental. Photo shows gash but did not get a photo of the nail.

These guys are heroes! I'am new to Birmingham and got a flat downtown, which was pretty stressful. I pulled in here, and the team was immediately amazing. Alex and Danny were super friendly, got me right in, and were clearly very knowledgeable. While they patched my tire, they even took the time to explain in detail how the patch works. I've never had a shop do that! Even with that great explanation, I was still out the door in less than 15 minutes. The best part? When I went to pay, they said it was on the house as a goodwill gesture. I was blown away. What a perfect example of true Southern Hospitality! Honest, kind, and fast. I'm never going to a big chain center again. This is my new go-to spot, and I'll be sending all my friends and family here for anything car-related. Highly recommend!

The pros at this establishment are awesome. I would heartily recommend them to anyone. Today I had an impact with an object on I-65 which ruptured my left rear tire on my Ford F150. I was able to crawl down the 6th Ave North off ramp to Southern Rubber Tire Pros. Alex and Daniel were so professional and quick to assist me with this situation. They quickly got my truck into the shop and changed out the damaged wheel for the spare and got the truck on the alignment rack to make sure it was not out of alignment. They did have to adjust the toe end on the front left and did all of this within like 35 minutes. The charge for all of this outstanding service was surprisingly low and shocked me. They treated me and my family like we were their only customers. One of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had. If you need work on your car or truck take it to them. They are the best!

The ownership and employees of this facility are exceptional. We had a last minute crisis with a tire on a Friday afternoon and they not only stayed late to take care of us but even felt it necessary to tell us “ sorry” it was taking so long as they double checked our work. These are good people, and I will be a customer of theirs for everything going forward.
